how it works
You can join as either a full day \ league member, or a social member. The difference in details and pricing is laid out below. To apply please fill out our online form, or contact us during office hours.
Overall our club membership is the same as a gym membership. If you don’t use the courts, you still need to pay you membership fees until you give us 1 month's written notice of your resignation from the club. We do not send out any statements, and unfortunately, no pay no play.
Social members (weekday, pensioners, juniors)
Details
• Can play any day of the week except Saturdays between 13:00 and 18:00.
• Preference in terms of the use of the courts will be given when there are club championships (January – March) and round robins.
• Members are welcome to join for round robin social days. A R40 extra ball fee will be asked.
• Members are welcome to join on a Saturday afternoon for social tennis, but only for a maximum of 3 times. An extra R40 ball fee per Saturday.
• Membership not subject to committee approval.
• Fees will be calculated pro-rata if you join during the year.
Pricing
• R1434 per year.
• R50 once-off outside bathroom key fee (in cases when the clubhouse is closed). This is optional.
League members (full, pensioners, juniors)
Details
• Can play any day of the week.
• Can play on organized social days (i.e. round robins)
• Membership subject to committee approval.
• Fees will be calculated pro-rata if you join during the year.
Pricing
• R2868 per year (full day members).
• R2150 per year (pensioners 65+).
• R1434 per year (juniors & students).
• R50 once-off outside bathroom key fee (in cases when the clubhouse is closed). This is optional.
Affiliation fees
Yearly mandatory affiliation fees to the various tennis associations are also payable with application. From there on, yearly in the same month as application.
• R551 – GNTA, GTA and TSA (league players)
• R250 – GNTA, GTA and TSA (social players)
